My goal is to develop a simple, affordable ophthalmic examination platform that uses artificial intelligence, which can help making treatment decisions and may reduce potentially treatable sight loss, worldwide. The equipment available today is costly, cumbersome, and therefore less accessible for patients at scale.

AeyeX is looking to change the future of ophthalmology diagnosis through an examination platform that uses AI to better understand an individual’s cause for sight loss.  90% of sight loss in individuals around the world can be treated before the onset of blindness.  AeyeX will help to inform the decision of how to best treat the patient’s condition and will be an innovative solution to combat the notion that extreme sight loss cannot be treated effectively.  The equipment in today’s market is costly, cumbersome and, as a result, inaccessible to patients around the world.  AeyeX will be an affordable and portable means to treat patients at a much greater scale.

Shayetet 13 lieutenant (res), MD.  Aside from being a clinician and an ophthalmology surgeon, I have the passion for innovation and entrepreneurship.
